How far from Paris to Giverny - Monet's Gardens?

I heard of some really nice spots in France. There are so many of them and I am sure that it would take several months to see most of them. Unfortunately, I have only two weeks at my disposal. Still, I would try to see as many as possible. How far from Paris to Giverny - Monet's Gardens?

There are some 46 miles from Paris to Giverny. It is a very nice place and Monet’s Gardens are something you don’t want to miss. My wife “forced” me to go there since I was reluctant to go but I am happy that I gave in and went there. It was really impressive.

What about the transportation? How do you get there? I suppose that they have good connections to this spot. I am also interested in Monet’s Gardens but do not plan to drive my car there. Bus, train, subway, taxi? Any suggestions regarding the best way to get there? I’d prefer bus or subway.
