How expansive are markets in Loire?

Hello
A couple of friends of mine and I have been planning to take a trip to Loire, France in a couple of weeks. We would like to travel around the Valley for some time, but we will be based in one place. Can anyone tell us how expensive are supermarkets in Loire? Thanks a lot in advance for you kind help. Bye

I have taken a trip to Loire last year with a couple of friends of mine and we had a really great time there. It was really fantastic experience and I am sure you will feel the same way. On the other hand it was really frustrating that the supermarkets were so expensive and that they were really rare. So I could advise you to considering more money then you first wanted. I couldn’t agree more with this. I mean, France is totally unreasonably expensive country and I am sure you will notice that there are a lot of people who shop in these small shops because they could much cheaper than supermarkets. So my advice to you is to make your own dishes at home if you have a kitchen in your accommodation. Have a nice stay because the place is really fantastic. Bye
