How easy is it to get Colombian visa?

Last year I had difficulties in obtaining a visa for certain African countries. This year I plan to go to South America and one of the countries that I want to visit is Colombia. I know that sometimes when there is a certain crisis it is hard to obtain a visa for a country in such situation and Colombia is known for frequent military and hostage crises. Is it difficult to get visa for this country?

Oh, yes. Don’t worry about that part especially if you are a USA citizen. This should not be too complicated. You should check out what the necessary documents for visa are and send them to Colombian embassy in your country. I think that you will maybe have to get a vaccine on certain kinds of diseases which are frequent in this country. There are about fifteen various types of visa and I suppose that you will have to get either a tourist visa or if you intend to visit this country a couple of times then you can apply for a temporal visa which means that you will have an opportunity to enter the country a couple of times during the period of validity which is usually six months.
