| Hello people, Im about to travel to Europe. A terrible thing happened to me last year when I was in Turkey. I was in famous 5 star hotel, completely relaxed, away from the city jam, not even thinking that something bad could happen. Unfortunately, someone broke into my room and took my passport as well as all the money I had. I wouldnt like to experience anything similar ever in my life, so Im asking you if there is a way to secure your personal possessions when traveling and if there is, which insurance companies you would recommend me. |

| Hello traveler, if I were you I would take all the measures of precaution which also include Personal effects insurance or All risks insurance. Still, I wouldnt take with me things which are too expensive to be covered by insurance policy, only the bare necessities. In this way, I would feel more comfortable even if somebody steal my stuff and wouldnt let some robber ruin my trip. As for the company, it depends on where you live. I heard that most or even all companies which issue these insurance policies include Personal effects insurance into standard Household Insurance, so I doubt whether this type of insurance can be issued apart from the Household insurance. Try to find it out and have a nice and secure trip |
