I was recently visited by some friends from France and we had a really good time. I will be going on holiday next month and I was wondering, what are the differences between Americans and Europeans in their choice of destinations. If anyone could give me a hint, it would be great. Thanks in advance.

Usually, there are differences between Europeans and Americans in that the former usually choose some exotic location, while latter usually choose Europe, for obvious reasons. However, take this very loosely, as there are many differences among ones and the others in themselves. There are many types of travelers with respect to the age, education, background, financial situation, individual interests and several other factors. When you put that all together, you can see that it is difficult to draw a sharp line between ones and the others. However, the difference I pointed out in the beginning is the most distinctive one in my experience.
