Please give me some tips on which restaurants are any good in Venice. Of course Italian food is compulsory whilst in Venice, but I am also interested in other restaurants. Anything characteristic to Venice or simply great restaurants is good. We also still need to decide on the hotel, so if someone can recommend one I would be very grateful.

Hello there, Venice is a great place and I love going there. There are some lovely restaurants there. I loved Trattoria di Gianni Trattoria di Gianni which is an Italian restaurant, and if you like seafood you shouldnt skip Ristoranata Dalla Mora. Also make sure you visit some of the ice cream places as the ice cream is the best in the world here!
