Hello! We live near Germany and we are spending our summer holiday on Sylt Island. We don’t have money to go to some farther destination such as Greece, so we could choose between a holiday on Sylt island or no holiday at all. We prefer traveling to Sylt than staying at home. After all, I think we’ll have good time there. I heard that we can ride a horse in cowboy style on this island. Is that true?

Look, you shouldn’t underestimate Sylt and say that you are going there just because you can’t afford any other destination. People from other countries travel hundreds of kilometers to see this island. Maybe the vicinity of the island makes you think about it as ordinary, but actually it isn’t. It is one of the most attractive German destinations. Your presumption that you won’t pay a lot is also wrong. The hotel prices are pretty high. However, you will probably save money when buying a ticket. Horseback riding is available in Westerland (the capital of the island). There are some great ponies you can hire and ride as long as 10 km.
