Heathrow Express expensive

I am going to London for a first time. I developed one dilemma in my head that involves way of transportation from the Heathrow Airport. I know that Heathrow Express is available choice but I overheard that is quite expensive, is that true? What is your opinion about this matter and in general about their services?

Ah London is an expensive city in general, dont you agree with this one. Yes I found Heathrow Express is a bit expensive maybe, but I also think that their service is just great. Tube cant be compared with that speed plus I think that everything is just made in a best way for everybodys transportation. What I am trying to say considering the fact that I have kids, and they can move freely in HE, then most certainly they deserved that we pay our ticket for that price 100 if you ask me.
