| I am going to visit Bursa for the first time. It is the place where my mother was born, and where she lived. She is too old to travel now, but she insists I visit the town. She also insists that I should try some Iskender kebap while I am there, and I guess I will have to. Can your recommend me a restaurant? Have you tried this meal? Is it good? |

| It is excellent. They serve it in other towns too, you know, mostly under name Bursa kebab. Iskender kebap is one of the most famous meat meals in the northern part of the country, and it is named after its creator. It is made of lamb meat, with tomato sauce, over pieces of bread. I think it is slathered with yogurt and melted butter. Anyway, it is something you must definitely try while you are in Turkey. Bursa is a nice town and I am sure you will love it.It has great thermal spas, a lot of museums you can visit and great places for hiking around. Have fun there. |
