| You know, whether you manage to smuggle something depends on whether the customs officer is eager to find something, and whether you have any reason and opportunity to hide anything. Something like that never happened to me. However, it happened several times that the items which probably were supposed to be charged were not noticed in my bag, although not hidden at all, simply because they did not bother checking any bags at all. Such things usually happen in the countries like Austria or Greece, but do not expect that to happen in Britain in USA. Smuggling anything in the fullest sense of the term is almost impossible if you are (like me) regular tourist. |
