A few days ago I was at a puppet show in Paris. It was great, though, personally, I am not a fan of these shows. My kids wanted me to take them and we all had fun. But, I saw an advertisement for something called The Grand Guignol. It seemed to me as something unusual and out of the ordinary. Whats your favorite puppet show in Paris?

I must say that I dont like puppet shows as well, but I happen to know a bit about The Grand Guignol. Its actually a theater in Pigalle, a seedy quart in Paris famous for being a red-light district. Its peculiarity was performing naturalistic horror shows. Its closed since the 1960s, but there are troupes that perform shows in similar fashion nowadays. Generally speaking that kind of theatre has never been appealing to me, perhaps because it seems so spooky and I dont understand how kids arent afraid. Pretty much the only puppet shows I can watch are Muppet Show and the Sesame Street.
