Has anyone been recently to Venezuela?

My friends tell me that Venezuela might be interesting spot for a vacation. Even though none of us have actually been there, we think of going there next summer. Although, it would be nice if we hear some suggestions or recommendations. Has anyone been recently to Venezuela? What’s it like there?

I think that, since you have never been there, you should go to Caracas first. It is the capital and it might give you the picture of what is Venezuela like. And I think that you would be surprised with the beauty and many things this town can show to you. And did you know that majority of Miss World winners come from Venezuela? That could be reason extra for going there…
