Hello to you all!!! I am very much looking forward to my trip to Vietnam, as is my cousin who is coming with me!! We both love shopping as well as nice food and seeing new places. I am hoping you people here can tell me what the best buys are when we are in Hanoi. What did you buy there? What are the must-have items?

Silk, I am sure it is needless to say, is one of the main products from Vietnam and the prices are excellent compared to western prices. You can go shopping late at night in the old quarters. Strolling around at ease at this time of day is relaxing and interesting. I bought lots of hats and stuff for my friends there
