| Hi everybody! I decided to go to my first safari next spring, and Ive taken Botswana into serious consideration. I have read a lot about it and I know there are plenty of places definitely worth visiting, for example - Okavango Delta, Kalahari Desert and Chobe National Park. Ive also spent hours looking at the safari photos, and I think I might actually enjoy my staying there. But I know that the quality of my time there depends mostly on the experience of the guides, so I wonder where I can find good guides? |

| Good and experienced guides are very important, not only because the quality of the time you will spend there, but for the sake of your safety also. First time I went to safari, it was Kenya, seven years ago; I had a very unpleasant situation and if my guide was not so experienced, I wouldnt be alive right now. I hate to even think about what happened. What I meant to say is that it is very important to find an experienced guide, one who has good knowledge and is trained to keep you away from the potential danger. The thing I know about Botswana is that you should go there between May and October, because the daily temperatures are lower, and you can enjoy the sights in a more pleasant atmosphere. |
