Getting to Salt Lake from Montreal?

When I complete my assignment next month in Montreal, I will be allowed to take a week of leave on my own account. As this is my first stay in Canada I thought I should take advantage of this generous offer and go to Salt Lake for a few days. What do you think is the best way to get there from Montreal?

You lucky devil, go for it! The place is really quite nice and will provide you with a genuine "time warp" experience. As the road to the place is quite romantic and wild, I think it would be an absolute waste to do it by conventional means. Rather go for a gypsy horse cart and take your time to "smell the roses". You won't regret it, especially if the coachman isn't looking too closely after his 19 year old daughter.
