I cant make up my mind about which airline to choose for flying from US to UK. Im not a frequent traveler. As a matter of fact this will be my first transatlantic journey. Please suggest me safe and respectable airlines because Im a bit nervous and I kind of have this fear of flying. The price is not important; I just want to have a safe flight. Many thanks.

Hey there! I completely understand your concern and I remember how I felt before my first long flight. I couldnt sleep a wink the whole night before it and I even had to take a sleeping pill when I boarded the plane. Nowadays, its almost a general truth that flying is the safest way of traveling and no matter which airline you pick, it doesnt make a big difference. Anyway, Id suggest you American Airlines as one of the oldest and most respectable airlines in our country. Then, of course, I mustnt forget Continental. You can also choose British Airways or Air France as one of the most respectable on the Old Continent. I only wouldnt suggest cheaper and low budget airlines for such a long journey. Good luck!
