Florence - Hotel Fenice info

Hello, my friends. I am going to Florence next week. My assistant booked me a room in Hotel Fenice. I dont know what kind of hotel I should expect. I dont like that he didnt ask me first, but whats done, its done. I would like to hear your experiences with this hotel. Thanks.

Well if he had booked you some other hotel, I wouldve told you not to worry. But this is not the case. I was in Hotel Fenice last month. It is a dirty hotel. I mean, they towels and sheets smell on vinegar. Imagine that! The carpets are old and our fridge didnt work. Our view was something special. It was a brick wall. You can imagine how our room was dark. And what goes better with dark room than noisy one? Weve heard everything from the next room. The only good thing about this hotel is that it has a great location in Florence. I think you should make a point to your assistant to consult you next time he wants to book you a room. Good luck!
