Five hour layover in London! Help!!!!

Five hour layover in London! Help!!!! I couldnt believe when they told me. I did expect some layover because I am going from Turkey to the USA and there are no direct flights from Istanbul to San Diego, but five hours that is what I didnt expect. So, what should I do and what is the best way to spend this much free time?

Well you havent told us a couple of very important details. Without this information I wont be able to be of much help I am afraid. Let me start by saying that 5 hours in London is not such a lot of time, although it may seem to it is. From Heathrow to center you will need more then half an hour drive and that leaves you with 4 hours maximum. Keep in mind that boarding for Atlantic flights is minimum two hours ahead and you will end up with not more then two hours tops. On the other hand if you are not an EU or USA citizen you will not be aloud to leave the airport building.
