Dear online friends! My family and I love cycling and we have done many a bike trip in the UK. Now the kids are a bit older and we are this year planning on doing a the Dordogne. I am looking for someone who can help us plan the itinerary. Any suggestions?

That sounds like a wonderful idea. I know that there are many organised bike tours going on in that region. If you want to do the trip by yourself, you can still learn from them. Why don't you contact one of the agencies organizing the tours and ask them for an itinerary? That should give you plenty of ideas.
