Hi! Can you suggest me some side trips and excursions outside and in Mexico City? I heard that about a 100 miles from Mexico City in almost any direction you can find something interesting to visit. I am not interested just in major tourist destinations and attractions, but something that can be pleasant to eye of a viewer. Any suggestion and tip can be helpful, anything but getting a cab and taking a trip to the country, i tried that and I don't like it!

Just 90 miles west of Mxico City, but worlds apart lies Valle de Bravo. Perched on a hilltop, in a beautiful pine forest away from the smog and traffic of Mxico City. The lake, actually a reservoir, is a peaceful place for sailing, water skiing, fishing (for bass & perch) and other water sports. Boats for fishing, skiing or just relaxing can be rented in the small marina, near the dock. Quertaro is a beautiful colonial city that played a large and important role in Mexican history and a city that is alive with art, music and cultural activities. Located about two and a half hours north of Mexico City by car, this interesting city is one of those magical places that is sure to capture your heart.
