| Hello, there. I was in Egypt last month. I agree with you, maybe it is better to take an organized tour when visiting unknown country. It is often cheaper to have a tour than to plan trip on your won. You have a guide who knows exactly what to show you. You are a part of a larger group and it makes you feel safer. But then, in tour you must visit and stay at some places that dont interest you. Most tours have Cairo on their program. Youll visit pyramids, bazaars, Egyptian Museum and Sphinx. The next visited point is Luxor. There you can find some impressive sights like Karnak, The Valley of Kings and Queens and the Temple of Luxor. From Luxor usually starts Nile cruising. You can also have a tour to Alexandria and the Red Sea, but this is not a standard route. I wish you a great time in Egypt! |
