I am about to go to Egypt Alexandria and am interesting in place to stay there so would like if someone suggests me some decent place to stay in Alexandria and I am not looking for any luxury hotel or something like that. Actually I am interested in some more authentic Egyptian place to stay in Alexandria and also would like it to be near the sea if possible. Thanks much!

Well the places near the sea are more expansive but still you can find some nice guest houses there in Alexandria –the prices vary greatly and there is lot of places to stay there in Alexandria. Anyway I stayed once at some guest house- Houton Bay Lodge and I had great time their with my boyfriend –we paid about 50 Eur per night and it was not at all that far away from the beach.
