Hi, guys. I have just arrived in Venice and I am very excited. I want to see all here. I know that the centre of the city is Piazza San Marco. I was thinking of eating around that square. What are your opinions? If you have tried that, I would like to hear your experience. Thanks in advance.

Hello to you too. I was in Venice last year. Piazza San Marco is the soul of the city, you can say that. Sitting there in nearby cafes or restaurants can be interesting. There are a lot of pigeons. That can molest some people. You can see how the mass of people passes by and that is very interesting. However, the prices in those cafes are enormous. We didnt know, but you pay for music there, although they dont play the whole time. The most famous cafes are Florian and Quadri. My friend visited Lavena, but she wasnt satisfied. She said the stuff there was rude. So, if your pockets are deep enough, then I would recommend you eating or drinking around Piazza San Marco. Good luck!
