| I am visiting Istanbul for the first time next week, and since my most preparations are done I would like to get informed about transportation system in the city. I know that it is famous for its trams, but I am particularly interested in metro, as it is my preferred means of getting around. Is it built and is it operative? |

| Hello! Yes, Istanbul has its metro, but it is still under construction. However, there is an operative line which goes from Levant to Osmanbay. However, I don’t quite understand your urge to travel by metro alone, I mean, you can also take tram or bus and reach your desired destination. Public transport in Istanbul is really well, so you shouldn’t worry about that. |
