Next February I will be visiting Florence and my friend told me that it is better to have a reservation for the Uffizi Gallery because the lines are too long and you may end up waiting for two or three hours to get in. Is it true, do I really need reservation in Uffizi in February, it is not a high season?!

From my experience it is better to have a reservation because in Florence it’ s always a high season. It is one of those cities where in every part of the year you find a bunch of cheerful and obedient tourists ready to wait for hours to get in the museum or a church. Since The Uffizi Gallery is the biggest and the most important in Florence, it’s better to have a reservation. I think you can do it even by e-mail.
