My friend always goes to exotic countries and areas. He doesn’t like the usual popular resorts in Mexico, Caribbean or Seychelles. He is going to Mongolia in several months and is asking me to join him. It sounds exciting, so I am thinking about it. Do I need a visa for Mongolia?

Yes, you do need a visa for Mongolia. For Tourist or Business Visas for up to 30 days you have to submit the application by mail or in person. You need a passport valid at least six months beyond the intended period of stay in Mongolia and application form with one passport size photo.

On top of that, you need to pay visa fee. Single entry visa costs $30.00. Double entry visa is $60.00 while you will have to pay $65.00 for multiple entry visa valid up to six months. Canada and Great Britain citizens have to pay $55.00 for visa. Regular processing time is 2 working days. For additional fee,they can speed up the process.
