| Hello there. I really do not understand this question of yours! Of course you have to pay if you are using a train restaurant. As much as I know, you need to pay for what you eat and what you drink in any train restaurant in the world. I have heard that only in Japan you are offered with a drink and a snack in the train, if you are traveling first class. But, restaurants are something completely different. I have never traveled long distance by train too, so I cannot give you some firsthand experience. Anyway, I reckon it must be quite relaxing when compared to traveling by plane for example. |
