Did you have nice opinion about French Riviera resort towns?

Is there anyone who has visited French Riviera resort towns, and who could tell me personal opinion on them? I am seriously considering an option to travel around French Riviera and book my stays in these towns, but I am still not sure whether or not it would be a good idea.

If it means anything, I traveled along French Riviera last summer, and I spent some ten days on that trip, but it was one of my best trips ever. I enjoyed absolutely every minute, and I liked so much this part of France, that I think that I will have to repeat it the following year again. I cannot imagine anyone not liking any town on French Riviera, including the resort towns as well.
