A friend of mine offered me to go with him to France for a skiing trip. He’s going to Megeve. I don’t know much about it, as I never been there, so I’m still thinking about it. Maybe someone here can help me decide. Did anyone stay in traditional Megeve villages in France?

I was there few years back, and it was very nice. Megeve is a small alpine village at the foot of Mont Blanc. It is not the most fashionable resort in France, but it does has it’s own charm. I think you should go with our friend, you won’t be sorry.

Megeve is very nice place for skiing trip. The trails are very nice, and there is usually plenty of snow. The ski lifts are modern and fast, and there are enough of them, so there are rarely crowded. And the accommodations are very good, with lots of chalets and apartments in and around the village.

It is very good skiing destination, you should thank your friend. And the whole village is something worth seeing. It is very rustic, with old buildings and village square and the church from eleventh century. There are also two snowboarding parks and a half pipe, if you are into that.
