Closest hotel in Iraklion for morning ferry to Santorini

Hi. I have some business in Santorini. But I have couple of days to rest, between two journeys. So I decided to go early and spend weekend in Iraklion. I heard so much beautiful things about that place. I have to be early in the morning in Santorini. So I need to catch the first ferry in the morning. My question is-Do you know the closest hotel in Iraklion for me to make the first morning ferry to Santorini?

Iraklion is really nice place. There is not very much things to see. But it is the great place where you can recreate. That is the general idea, to relax before another trip.. I am sure that there are a lot of hotels near ferry and bus stations. They must be prepared for tourists. I was in hotel Mirabello and it is very close to the ferry. It is not very expensive also. I think that is very important thing also. I am sure that there are some hotels cheaper and more expensive. So ask around for a price. Or you can decide for a hotel that is the closest to the ferry.
