Christmas in Strasbourg or Provence?

Hi. What do you think is a nicer place to spend Christmas Strasbourg or the Provence? Have you spent Christmas in either of those places, and what was it like? I am especially interested to know what kind of activities there are organized and what the atmosphere is like. Cheers

I was in Strasbourg for Christmas once and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I would most certainly recommend it to you. The atmosphere on the streets is jolly and Christmassy. I especially loved the Christmas market. The streetlights are great too. And the Christmas service at the Cathedral is a once in a lifetime experience. Go for it!
