Bullet trains in Spain?

Hello! I’m travelling to Spain next month and since I’ll stay there for quite some time I’d like to learn something about its means of public transportation. I’ve got a temporary job there and as I have understood I will have to commute. Are there bullet trains in Spain? It would be great to be able to cover the distance very fast.

I don’t think that there are bullet trains in Spain. I may be wrong but I think that there are bullet trains only in Japan and in Great Britain. Anyway, I guess that the railways in Spain are quite satisfactory and I reckon that you will not have any problems reaching the place where you work. They have a well developed and good public transportation in this country and you don’t have to worry. To be honest, I don’t think that I would have the courage to take a ride in one of those bullet trains. I think that I would faint due to such an enormous speed. But not everybody is chicken like me!
