Dear everyone. I am really hoping you can urgenrtly help me get an answer to this question of mine. I have met someone doing business with Bhutan, and I am very interested in the offer he has made. I am seriously considering buying silks and jewellerry from there. But of course I would have to go and see them for myself and decide what exactly I am interested in, and then bring it back home. The proposed trip is in November. What is the weather like over there at this time of year?
This is a good time of year to visit Bhutan. The rainy season will have passed. And the temperature is sunny and pleasant, though not too warm. The nights do get chilly so do bring along some warmer clothes. Bhutan is very exiting place. I am sure you will find plenty of business opportunities over there. Especially if you are interested in small crafts, there is a sea of possibilities.
Bhutan is at the same latitude as Miami and Cairo. The climate varies widely depending on the elevation.
I have been to Bhutan in winter. Because winter is a good time for touring in western Bhutan, bird-watching in the south’s subtropical jungles, and whitewater rafting. The days are usually sunny, cool and pleasant, but it’s quite cold once the sun sets and you will need to pack warm clothing.
