I have an opportunity to travel to Bhutan in February. My company will send me there because I have to finish some research. Is this cheap or expensive town? What is going on in february in Bhutan? What type of clothes should I bring? Is in february high or low season tariff?

Off late, Bhutan opened the door to tourists and the amount of tourist arrival has been increasing year by year, which shows that there is no exact dates or months for a visit. Winter is best time to visit western Bhutan to do stuff like bird watching in the subtropical jungles in the south, and white rafting in regions where the water is hot. When the winter season hits during the February, the road from Thimphu to Bumthang at the east may be closed because of snow, which last for couple of days. In February days are warm, and on a sunny day, temperature reach about 16-18 degrees. There is a Punakha Domchoe Festival in the end of the february.
