What is the best time to visit Argentina? I’d like to go there when it’s not too hot in order to be able to go sightseeing and enjoying this wonderful country. I think, though I may be wrong, that Argentina is one of those hot countries and I’d like to avoid the possible heat wave. Can you tell me what season has the most moderate climate?

Argentina has a very diverse climate due to the various altitudes and terrains. That’s why it’s hard to answer this question properly. I suppose that you will not visit the harshest regions with sub polar climate. So, there are parts of Argentina that have hot and humid summers and mild winters. Then, there are parts with hot summers and cold winters, and what you’ve said about Argentina being a hot country is not true, because there the snow falls. Moreover, in certain parts which are on higher altitudes even blizzards occur. So, I suggest you to visit Argentina during summer. In my opinion, that’s the best time of the year. Maybe it’s a bit hot, but it’s not unbearable.
