Best place for summer holiday in Guyana?

My wife wants to go to South America. She watches too many TV shows and now she doesn’t want to hear about any other destination. This year we have decided to visit Guyana. We read some nice articles about this country. What is the best place for summer holiday in Guyana?

Well, Guyana is a nice country with plenty of beautiful sights. You will enjoy your time spent there. Although there are several good places for summer holiday, Georgetown is the best place. Beside Georgetown, New Amsterdam is also OK and you may consider going there for a few days. You can stay in Georgetown and then travel to New Amsterdam or even stay few days in the town. My sister spent one week in New Amsterdam and she came back really satisfied.

You are right, although I enjoyed my time in Georgetown and spent only one afternoon in New Amsterdam, I think that it is a very nice place and I may decide to stay there next time I visit Guyana. Although, I haven’t been there, I heard that Lethem is also very nice.
