Beer and liquor in Vienna

Hi there, I am going to Vienna with my husband and as he is a real beer lover, I would like to find out some good places to take him. And how about liquor? Are there any specialties, unique to the city/country? I hope to get lots of answers! Thanks everybody.

If you like beer Vienna is the right place to be. There are beer tents everywhere and you should go on a beer hunt with your husband if you can endure it! The most popular are light and dark beer, and there are beer gardens where they brew their own beer. These are of excellent quality. Also, wine drinking has become a tradition in Vienna, so make sure not to miss out on the wine taverns.
