Has any of you been to Gods Festival in Oaxaca? I have been planning to go there and satisfy my thirst for both history knowledge and food flavors. Still, I will have to wait for another year, because my this years savings went for a deposit for a new car (my sister crashed our previous car while returning from her trip to Mexico). She was the one who got me intrigued in the Festival.

What I have heard last, festivals name has changed to Food of the Gods Festival. I dont know much about the historical facts, but I do know that there are flavors from 17 different Indian groups that come from Oaxaca valley. You have two possibilities, October and December. My brother was there last year and said that it was the best time of his life. I am not so sure myself of going there, I more of a Japan fan.
