Hi, folks. I will be in Paris in the first part of July next year. Ive heard that there is a national holiday on July 14th. Is this true? I think they call it Bastille Day. How do they spend this holiday? What happens on the streets of Paris? Can someone tell me something like that? Thanks.

Hello, there. Well it is one of the most national holidays in France. They celebrate July 14th, the day when the revolutionaries broke into the up to that time most guarded prison in France. Its not only that day that is live in Paris. The evening before also has several events. I would emphasize the dancing at the Bastille square. It is amazing. The Bastille Day is marked by parades from Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. Also there are many picnics. Of course, youll see what interests you the most and then you'll pick a content that will satisfy your need.
