Are there good beaches in Manila?

I am going to Philippines, to be precise Manila. I honestly have no idea how I made up my mind to go there, but there it is Manila here I come! Actually I blame friend of mine that suggested and arranged the whole thing, I just said ok. I hope the beaches are great there, otherwise why are we going, heh. Are there any good beaches in Manila? I need to be prepared to know what I should expect.

Manila is one of Asian places where the tradition and western modern are mixed. This town can also be pretty crowded. Humidity is high and it is very hot place for staying just there, so for sure a nice beach could do the trick to make those things a bit more bearable. You have great beaches in Puerto Galera which is three and a half hours away from Manila. White Beach like Puerto Princesa Palawan is a one to two hours flight from Manila. Hope you will manage to find them and have a great time far away from the Manila smog.
