Are last minute villa bargains any good?

Hi. My husband and I have been talking about a holiday in Egypt for the past four months. Now the summer season has passed and I am getting more and more frustrated. I really, really need a holiday. To this purpose I have been looking at all those last minute deals on the net. There are plenty of cheap villas out there in places like Al Gouna and Sharm el Sheik. The question is whether these last minute villa bargains are any good?

That all depends. I have seen such sites that you are talking about and I have always been skeptical towards them. I still think that the very best way to get a good deal is to walk into your nearest travel agent and to ask them what they have on offer. Nine times out of ten they will have some last minute deals on. I am talking about reputable companies, not "who knows what kind of sleazy company" offers on the net!
