Are airfares US to Europe higher this winter than in the past?

Hi, is it me or are airfares to Europe really higher than before? Weve been looking to travel into France from the US but the costs seem a bit extreme, really Sad I thought is was less, but now well just have to keep saving for a bit longer. Perhaps someone has some ideas for cheap faires?

Yes, you are right in thinking ticket prices have increased. The only way to beat this is by booking well in advance. Also prices of course vary from airport to airport. You dont say where you live but it might be worth looking around, seeing if you can get cheaper flights from an airport thats farther away from where you live. Sometimes travel agents do get better deals than you do if you book over the internet, so pop in to a few to see what your options are!
