Anyone been to Lake Como recently?

One of my friends managed to convince me to go on a week trip to Lake Como this month, and now we are trying to make some basic plan, and decide where we will stay at. That is why we could use a good suggestion for a hotel from somebody who has been to Lake Como recently.

I have been to Lake Como only once, and it was three months ago. I hope it is recent enough for you. Anyway, I have stayed there 2 weeks, and at the Hotel Florence, and was absolutely delighted with my perfect (not so large, but yet comfortable enough) room, with a lovely terrace and great view.

Anyone been to Lake Como recently?
