Hello everyone. I was wandering has anyone of you been in Fort Myers, known as a Cowtown in 1880. I have been to Florida but never in this historical city. This year I am planning to visit The Fort Myers Historical Museum in the old Atlantic Coastline Railroad depot and to take tour of the Edison home. I am considering to stay for couple of days. Anyone been on a holiday in Fort Myers?

You surely can stay longer because there is lot of things to see. Through Fort Myers runs Caloosahatchee River where you can visit so many events, from scenic to jungle cruises. You also must check out The Esperanza, private rail car and Manatee Park where you can see manatees. Seeing manatees, alligators and many species of birds in their natural habitat is really great experience. There are a lot of exibition and conerts during whole year all over the town. You can also visit Planetarium.
