I’m not very fond of harsh weather conditions. I just don’t like when it is too hot or too cold. I’m telling you this because I’m supposed to travel to Chile next month and I know that there is that famous Atacama Desert in this country and I reckon that it would be a shame mot to visit it. What is the climate like there? Has anybody visited it?

As far as I can remember from high school, this place can be considered as the most authentic desert in the world, if we define a desert as the place with low precipitation level. In other words, it almost never rains in Atacama Desert. Still, I don’t think that it is not too hot there all the time. According to some people, this desert resembles the surface of Mars and many movies about this planet have been filmed there. Anyway, I suggest you to take one of the guided tours to this desert because I suppose that they take weather conditions into consideration and that they organize them when it is bearable for most tourists.
