Any volcanoes in Virunga Mountains?

a couple of friends of mine and I have been planning a trip to Virunga Mountains this year and we were wondering is there anyone who could tell us is there any volcano in Virunga mountains? Thanks a lot in advance for your help. We really appreciate it. bye

Hello,
some friends of mine and I had a great time last year in Viruna mountains. We stayed there for more than 10 days and we were absolutely amazed by this place. I think that these mountains a re actually the chain of volcanoes along the border with Congo, though I think they are not active ones.

Hi,
my girlfriend and I have stayed in Congo last year and we took a trip to Virunga Mountains. I think that they are the, as you said, the chain of volcanoes, actually and they are really beautiful. Most of these volcanoes are dormant except Mount Nyiragongo and Mount Nyamuragira . Have a nice stay there! bye
