My father is going to retire this year and my wife and I would like to surprise him with a trip during which he will enjoy and get used to life in retirement. For some reason, we have decided that a trip to Ecuador would be a perfect vacation for breaking up daily routine and energizing body and soul. He loves golf and it would be great if there are some golf courses near Quito, where we plan to book him accommodation.

If it is a retirement 'gift' then it calls for luxurious accommodation and stay. I have a great suggestion for you. There is a luxurious JW Marriott Hotel in Quito and there is also a good golf course. I think that you should check this hotel out and if the price suits you, it would be a splendid place for someone who wants to relax and enjoy. Tthe rooms are comfortable and clean and I think that besides a golf course there is also a swimming pool. Anyway, if you don't want to book a room in this hotel. then maybe here is a possibility for him to use their golf course for a certain fee.
