Any exciting beach resorts in Sydney?

I am going downunder in two weeks. I have some friends in Sydney and they had invited me to visit them. I was reluctant because I am usually too busy to travel but now I have decided to take few weeks off and enjoy myself. Are there any exciting beach resorts in Sydney?

Sydney is a wonderful city. There are many splendid beaches and even more nice resorts. Here are some of them: Swiss-Grand Resort & Spa Bondi Beach, Rydges Cronulla Beach, Forresters Beach Resort, Avalon Beach RSL, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort, Manly Beach Resort, Manly, Outrigger Beach Resort, Avoca Beach Palms Resort Apartments, Huskisson Beach Tourist Resort, Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort, etc.
