Amalfi Coast for a week?

Honestly, I can't wait for my vacation to begin. My wife has chosen Amalfi coast and we will stay there for a week. I am not that really interested in the location as in the fact that I will be going somewhere out of the country after 5 long years. I did not even have a proper vacation! So, where are you going this year?

We have been thinking about Istanbul for a week, but that plan will not work. The only other option is Istanbul again, but for a New Year Eve. We have heard that it should be really something special and we want to check that out. We will go in our arrangement, we'll book some hotel online (Rainbow hotel is our current wish) and I hope we will get there at least two days before so we could roam a city for a while.
