Advice on shopping in Luang Prabang

Hi,
I have been planing a trip to Asia this year. I would like to visit Laos with some friends of mine. We have always been having some problems when shopping in the city, either we payed too much for a thing or we weren't in need of it at all but we still bought it. I need some advice on shopping in Luang Prabang...Anyone?

Hello,
Luang Prabang has been increasingly becoming a popular tourist destination which had increased the number of shoppes for tourists too. The cheapest solution and yet the best in my opinion in to shop in Chinese Market which has the same quality good but with lower prices. It is one mile away from the old town center.
